As the demand for advanced sample testing facilities and hands-on training in various fields of scientific research continues to grow multifield, we established Forevision Laboratories, inaugurated on 1st September 2008.
The laboratory was founded with a vision to support researchers, academicians, students, and industrial professionals by providing practical exposure, application-oriented demonstrations, and advanced scientific support in the fields of Thermal Analysis and Metallographic Studies.
Objectives of the Laboratory :
Forevision Lab is equipped with latest Rigaku STAvesta (Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer) & Pace Technologies – Metallographic tools.
Rigaku STAvesta : STAvesta is a compact, next-generation simultaneous TG-DSC system designed for powerful thermal analysis with high precision and reliable performance. It features interchangeable furnaces up to 1000°C and 1500°C, along with a real-time Sample Observation Unit for live camera monitoring during analysis.
PICO 155S : The PICO-155S is a variable speed precision wafering saw designed to section material with extreme accuracy. Its innovative design ensures you are cutting with micrometer precision for a wide range of materials including metals, ceramics, electronics, and other engineered materials. The microprocessor-controlled system of the PICO-155S guarantees consistent and accurate cutting performance. Efficient cooling during the cutting process prevents heat-related damage to the specimens, and a digital feedback speed control allows users to adjust the cutting speed precisely according to their requirements.
GIGA-S : The GIGA-S is designed to prepare even the most difficult to polish materials with a very gentle polishing action. It is especially useful for EBSD polishing sample preparation (electron backscatter diffraction). Polishing is accomplished by setting the default frequency so that the sample begins to vibrate and then changing the voltage in order to adjust the rotational speed.
FEMTO 1100S/Nano 1000S : PACE Technologies FEMTO-1100S Metallographic Automated--> Polishing System is an individual specimen automatic polishing head (Part No. FEMTO-1100S) for use with the NANO-1000S polishing machines. The FEMTO-1100S is a variable speed (0-300 rpm), utilizing a 1 hp (750W) dynamic torque servo motor for better full speed range motor power, pneumatically adjustable individual piston polishing head for polishing 1 to 6 specimens independent of each other.
Zeta Dispenser 2000 : Zeta Dispenser 2000 : The ZETA 2000 is a 4-fluid automated / manual dispenser used for controlling and regulating the application of abrasives such as diamond, alumina, colloidal silica and lubricant solutions onto the polishing surface. The ZETA 2000 dispensing frequency, duration, starting time and total time can be programmed for manual or automated polishing.
